About us

In the beginning there was darkness (lack of visibility). Then the visionary rose up and said, “Let there be light” and Bajan Fuh Evah was born. Six years ago, band-leader, Sonia, decided that it was time. Time for Barbados to be represented. Represented at a level not seen, on the streets of Miami, in the past. Sonia lit the fuse and brought a “Cultural Experience”, vividly depicted in a burst of color; to Miami Broward One Carnival. Not only did Bajan Fuh Evah once again bring Kadooment to Miami, but Bajan Fuh Evah vowed to support Barbados and does; by using designers out of Barbados, Bajan Calypso Artistes and Bajan Deejays. Tonight we celebrate Barbados’ Golden Jubilee by depicting in gorgeous, vivid, awe inspiring color – THE EVOLUTION – THEN & NOW.
